I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were very clean and roomy, exactly as I requested with a king bed and walk-in shower, making it convenient being close to the lobby. The service couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful, with the staff promptly attending to our needs, even moving me to another room right away. The location in Lexington was perfect, convenient to the highway and Blue Ridge Parkway. The dining experience was fantastic, offering a variety of items to choose from.
The hotel had some ups and downs. The rooms were somewhat damp due to a soaked carpet near the bath and sink area, making it hard to sleep well, but there are handy lamp plug-ins for charging. The furnishings were tired with patches and fraying carpet in some spots. The service was good overall, with a minor hiccup of forgetting to sign me in for an extra day. The location was convenient but had a bad smell lingering. The dining experience was a mix; it could have been better with more variety but was pet-friendly with a reasonable deposit.
